Imaging of Pain Perception

Cognitive Engineering,
LLC offers MR imaging to detect and monitor the perception of
pain and its response to analgesic medication. Studies can be
performed while the patient is experiencing pain, and repeated after
analgesia. Pain scales are coordinated with images. Color functional
MRI maps are generated illustrating the areas of the brain activated
during pain.
